"When the pantone color of 2018 was named ultra violet, we had to embrace it and create a styled wedding shoot that would bring all critics of purple together with the lover's of purple. Jenny from Wedding Boston had worked with New Hampshire native Linda Jennings, Photography by Linda,  on a styled wedding shoot in the past so we teamed up to bring the purple love to life.

It all started with the florals, and since we knew that charming New Hampshire would be the destination of the styled shoot, we reached out to Apotheca Flowers. Apotheca began in childhood--as most things do. Owner and founder, Alyssa Van Guilder spent her first decade of life in rural Alaska playing with rocks, mosses, lichen, and bark. She crafted all sorts of magic out of found objects and even tried selling some at the end of her dirt drive that led to a dirt road that had more caribou traffic than people traffic. She learned early on that she loved to create. Her wonderous story inspired us and so did the amazing florals Alyssa and her team created.

We found the Bedford Village Inn in Bedford, NH to host this amazing shoot, with its deep wood floors and wall full of windows which looks out over the gorgeous manicured gardens and brings in the perfect amount of light for any event. We had a day of both sun and rain, which can be true for any wedding day, so we took at as a sign of "luck" and had some fun running in and out of the showers.

Working with talented vendors native to New Hampshire included Chickadee cakes. When Shara unveiled the cake, we couldn't believe her florals where make from sugar - the details where amazing.

We wanted our models to embrace their natural beauty with touches of purple shades created by Charlene Bryan Beauty, also a native of NH. Kashmir from Weddings by Kashmir used florals from Apotheca Flowers to highlight the stunning soft hairstyles she created. We partnered with Allegria Bridal for the stunning beaded bridal gown, which had a very unique and beautiful grey tone, and bridesmaid dresses that evoked elegant whimsy. We love details galore and couldn't resist adding some touches of yellow, especially in the wedding invitations created by Inspiration ido Design. The marbled place cards created by Amour Daydream Studio added an elegant trendy touch while the wooden signs by Rustic Marlin tied in the rustic feel ever so gently.  Details wouldn't be complete without the shiny gems adorned by the bride that where created by Dareth Colburn (USA Bride's) sister company.

Everything tied in so wonderfully together, and we hope you love this shoot as much as we do!"
